Today, I visited Kyoto for the first time in a while, even though it was raining and a bit cold.
I wandered near Sanjo Bridge and found a nice coffee shop; the seat next to me was occupied by two American girls who were continuously writing something on their notebooks. I wonder if they wrote about me.
Before heading back, I browsed through some secondhand records. I bought a Beatles album (just the instrumental version, which explains why it was so cheap), a Japanese old pop album with an attractive cover that I hadn’t heard before (after listening, I felt it was my best purchase of the day), an expected Shoji Narita album, and an unknown folk album.
I found a hotel lobby very suitable for studying, with unlimited coffee refills for 800 yen, which was quite nice.
In the evening, I wanted to finish writing “Guardian Angel,” but I couldn’t quite figure it out and had to end it abruptly. The ideas I had will have to remain scattered for now.
